RJ Smith - Owner
RJ Smith opened Superior Transmission in February 2003. He takes pride in offering quality service at a fair price. RJ is an ATRA certified R & R Technician and Diagnostician. He also is ASE Certified in brakes, steering and suspension. Prior to owning his own business, RJ was in the heavy-duty truck parts industry. He soon became the go-to guy for truck repair problems. Many times customers would ask him about a repair problem that they were having trouble with. RJ began working on vehicles early in his life. When he was young, he would work on his dad's trucks. He learned early on how to change oil, replace brakes and many other basic mechanical skills. As a teenager, RJ enjoyed modifying cars and to this day is still an automotive enthusiast. In addition to his certifications, RJ also has completed seminars on Automatic Transmissions and OBDII Diagnostics.
Pete Hogan - Service Writer
Pete is our friendly service writer. He's the guy you'll be talking to when you come into our shop. Although he's relatively new to the automotive business, Pete's eager to help you out. Pete received his training at Lincoln Technical Institute where he completed automotive repair as well as service writer training. Because of his training, Pete is familiar with the mechanical aspects of your car and would be happy to take the time to explain to you any repairs that are needed.
Max Wright - Transmission Builder
Max is our talented transmission builder. He has been in the transmission business for 20 years. Max is an ATRA Certified R & R Technician and Rebuilder. He also is ASE Certified in Automatic Transmissions. Max has experience rebuilding import and domestic transmissions as well as high performance transmissions. He enjoys his job and takes pride in his work. He always keeps up with the latest technology. He has completed numerous seminars on Automatic Transmissions and never misses a chance to attend one. When Max rebuilds your transmissions, you can be sure that it will run smoothly for years to come.
Squirrely - Mascot
Squirrely is our mascot. He loves greeting customers and snacking on peanuts. He visits almost everyday and sometimes he'll bring a friend. Don't be afraid to offer him a snack, he'll eat right out of your hand.
